Job Summary

The Computer Programmer will work collaboratively and cooperatively with the current Programmer to further develop and enhance the Company’s in-house applications that support the entire process of our business.

Essential Job Functions and Duties

  • Code, test, troubleshoot, analyze, maintain, and develop programs for both desktop and Mobile.
  • Assist with solving core system software issues.
  • Assist team members in using computer systems and other technology.
  • Develop detailed programming logic based on specifications.
  • Evaluate interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one program would cause unwanted results in a related program.
  • Analyze and correct deficiencies in program performance.
  • Write and maintain new program code and programming documentation.
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Design and modify interfaces to improve usability.
  • Perform other duties as directed by leadership.

Requirements

  • Computer Science Degree
  • 3 years of programming experience.
  • Intermediate experience to write in multiple programming languages (priority for vb.NET, SQL Server (SSMS), aspx.NET, C# in that order, work in Visual Studios is a plus) and proprietary programming languages or reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to modify and generate system reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and analyze information/problems and to draw conclusions.
  • Demonstrated ability to easily learn and support new systems, products, and applications. Advanced knowledge of programming logic and languages.
  • Proficiency using Excel and Word.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an office environment but may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and general conditions that include exposure to dust.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position lifts light objects, sits for long periods of time. Must be able to drive to offices.
